Remote Education Provision
On Tuesday 5th January 2021 parents and carers received information via email regarding St. Peter’s Remote Education for those children working from home.
We have a password protected webpage where you can access year group lessons with additional resources to support your child’s learning.
It also provides you with links to additional provision through Sumdog, Spelling Shed, Letter-join, Oxford Owl and Phonics Play. There are help sheets available on how to access the resources. We have also added some PE challenges and non-screen-based ‘Creative Curriculum’ challenges.
To ensure that remote education is accessible to all most of the work set is via the internet so if your child does not have access via a computer, laptop or tablet then please inform your child’s Class Teacher when they call you and we can arrange to send paper-based learning via the post. There is also information about how you can access the provision via your child’s games console (Xbox or PlayStation)
We understand that this is a difficult time and many of you will be juggling home schooling with more than one child and have work commitments. Please do what you can, encourage your child to have a go and keep reading regularly. If you have any concerns of worries please contact your child’s Class Teacher.
The webpage will explain how there are opportunities for you to share your child’s remote education with their Class Teacher via email.
If you didn’t receive the information regarding accessing the Remote Education or have lost passwords, please let your class teacher know via the class email or during your ‘Keeping in touch’ telephone call. Please ensure that you have given permission on SIMS for SUMDOG and Spelling Shed. If you need help accessing the SIMS app please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the words SIMS App in the subject line and we will arrange to have your account reset.

Our intake is currently 50% Catholic and we welcome families of all faiths living in Bromsgrove and the surrounding areas who would value a Christian education for their child. Our experienced, highly motivated and dedicated staff are committed to our school mission.
