Odd Socks for Anti-Bullying Week

On Friday 15th November, pupils and staff wore odd socks to close our ‘Anti-Bullying Week’, supporting this year’s national theme of ‘Change Starts With Us.’  Our school Mass with the theme ‘Friendship’ on Friday morning was a lovely link.

During this week, we have been thinking about how we can be kind and ‘spotting’ others being kind in our classrooms and around school.

In every classroom, a ‘Kindness Bingo’ chart was displayed and anybody who was spotted, doing one of the acts of kindness, had their name written on the chart. It was a great success and adults in school were inundated with pupils coming to tell them of the kindness of others!
