On Monday 12th November, pupils and staff wore odd socks to launch our ‘Anti-Bullying Week’, supporting this year’s National theme of ‘Respect.’
During our PSHE lessons this week, we have been thinking about respect and what it means to show respect. The children have come up with some great ideas, including making sure we are always polite, using our manners and listening carefully to other’s while they are speaking.
In classes, everyone’s name was put into a hat and each child pulled out a name, without telling anyone who it was. Throughout this week, the children have been trying to be especially kind and caring to the person whose name they pulled out. All staff did the very same activity too!
