The Year Four children at St. Peter’s Catholic First School (Academy), Bromsgrove performed ‘Wind in the Willows’, to both family and friends, last week for their Leavers’ Production. They were all involved with singing, dancing and acting out this classic tale. The children were very enthusiastic and had great fun. Their singing was excellent and they had taken great effort with costumes, scenery and show cased their many talents.
Mrs. Robinson and Mrs. Rowe the Year Four teachers said ” We were immensely proud of the children and it was a great opportunity for the whole year to come together and celebrate before they move on to middle school. Congratulations to all who took part and we wish you all the best in your middle schools”.
“‘The leavers’ production of ‘The Wind in the Willows’ was absolutely wonderful, delivered with such tremendous enthusiasm by what is evidently a very talented year group. The children were a real credit to the school, giving a performance so professional that it was hard to believe they were only 8 or 9 years old. It was obvious much hard work has been put in to the production. I would like to congratulate all the children and staff involved’ said Mrs Bernadette Mackie, Chair the St. Peter’s Academy Committee.
