Operation Encompass is a process whereby the police and county council will inform a member of staff if a child or young person has experienced any domestic incident. This will be done prior to the start of the next school day. Information sharing between professional agencies allows school staff to provide emotional and practical support to their pupils experiencing domestic abuse.
Domestic abuse can broadly be defined as ‘any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour; violence or abuse between those aged 16 or over who have been intimate partners or family members. This can include, but is not limited to the following types of abuse – psychological, physical, sexual, financial and emotional.
Get Safe is the Worcestershire name for Worcestershire’s multi-agency support and protection for children and young people.

We are committed to making sure that our school is a safe and happy place to be. Pupils are regularly reminded how to keep themselves safe, in lessons, assemblies and through visitors to school.
Everybody in school takes health and safety very seriously. If you see anything that could be improved please tell a member of staff or complete a message slip at the school office.

In a modernising and ever changing word, new technologies have became an integral part of lives. In today’s society both children and young people are exposed to a wide array of technologies, both within schools and in their lives outside school. Technology enables us to make connections around the world, surf the internet and access a wide range of digital information, which open up new opportunities for everyone.
When used effectively technology can provide great rewards. Technologies can promote creativity, innovation, discussion and stimulate awareness of context to promote effective learning. It is integral that children are equip with the skills to receive these benefits, at the same time, limiting the risks they may be exposed to.
E-Safety is something that everyone should be aware of and be making considerations when using any type of technology. Children are exposed to all manner of things whilst online and just like in the real world, we need to be aware of and consider carefully, our interactions in the digital world.
At St. Peter’s we celebrate International Internet Safety Day each year. This raises awareness around keeping safe online in addition to the Digital Literacy our children receive through our Computing curriculum.
